One more Schumacher quote
In Small Is Beautiful, Schumacher writes about giving "a new direction to technology development, a direction that shall lead it back to the real needs of man, and that also means: to the actual size of man. Man is small, and therefore, small is beautiful. To go for giantism is to go for self-destruction."

And in response to the title of your recent post ("I think we've had enough!"), I should mention I'm working on putting together a little manifesto (maybe for ChangeThis!), exploring something I'm calling "The Enough Movement."
It's still very rough and 1/2 baked, but I imagine I'll post something about it in the not too distant future.
