NaNoWriMo Update

I finished Chapter 15 this morning. The girls were in an experimental sub, looking for Champy (the Lake Champlain monster). Things went wrong, they ended up at the bottom of the lake, the lights went out... etc, etc... but at the end of Chapter 15, they were back on the surface, safe & sound. The story is almost over...

Casualty Count Update: For those who are keeping track, pen #3 bit the dust over the weekend. I sat down and literally wrote the first two letters of a 3-letter word (I believe it was "she"), when the ink just stopped coming out.

Sounds so fun ~ can't wait to read the finished story!! Does this mean you need pens for Xmas?

Yes! A pen for Christmas would be great! Maybe three or four! :)

Fantastic! That's the advantage to writing longhand . . . you see your progress in pens, it's tangible. It's a good thing I don't have to go through keyboards. All of the ones I have lying around are so old they're no longer compatible.

People don't realize that you can never give a writer too many pens for gifts. We love them! I told my husband pens, index cards (colored . . . oooh), sharpies and sticky notes make the BEST stocking stuffers!

Thanks! I'll definitely pass a hint along to my wife about how cool pens are as stocking stuffers... (although I'm sure to kill it quickly).
