Good Writing

A thought for my fellow NaNoWriMo'ers...

"It has often been said, by numerous experts in the fields of writing and communication, that good writers should always endeavor to, when ever possible, omit any and all instances of words which are unnecessary, for the sake of the clarity and quality of their writing projects."

- or -

Omit unnecessary words.

I should say, also, after reading your post, and giving it some thought, that, perhaps, some people tend to overuse, the comma, and, in fact, many often tend to mis-use the comma, which can result in, a pretty annoyed reader (or is it a pretty, annoyed reader?).
(I know I tend to use parentheses too much (its a habit I am trying to break)).

Good "point," Mark.

There are "a lot" of "things" that bad "writers" tend to "do," and "most" of them "involve" overuse of "something," if you "know" what I mean.

This "conversation" could "go on" for "some time."
