Desert - Illustrated Edition

This morning, I published the illustrated edition of The Desert. It now contains five beautiful paintings by the very talented Mandy Hoelmer, who also did the illustrations for the Boomer Sisters books.

I think we can consider this to be the definitive, final edition of The Desert. I'm not planning on making any further changes. If I come up with any more stories like the ones in The Desert, I'll put them into a sequel (Return To The Desert?).

Announcing The Desert!

The Desert is a little collection of short stories I've been working on for a while now.

I published the first edition last year, and this morning I published the expanded "Second Edition." It's about twice as long as the original version, and much more coherent. The stories hang together better, and have been polished, edited, etc.

It's available over at Silly Hat Press, where you can flip through a "preview" of the entire thing. Maybe I'll post a few excerpts here at some point.
